RispondiEliminaThe Po viola reminds me of a Beatles song...."The Long and Winding Road."....though it is a river in your painting. Also reminds me of the impressionist paintngs in which a railroad bridge was painted....representing the industrial age....this painting is reminiscent of that....with the house in the foreground with the smoke coming out of the chimney....perhaps even representing a factory. Symbolically, it could even portray, with the bridge in the background that the Industrial age....happened a long time ago.....and perhaps the portrayal of the smaller house is a wish that the clock would be turned around bringing smaller factories and smaller business rather than the large corporate factories. This is a moody painting...with nice soft colors....another gorgeous painting!

I like the color palette of this painting. The lines of the flooded fields...which I am guessing is a rice farm? I like the peaceful feeling I get while looking at the painting. The simplicity of the lines....and how they are interconnected.....and the depth created by them is very nice.
